The VideoRay VIPS conference is a very exciting time of year. This year is even more exciting because of the debut of the VideoRay Pro 4. Over the past 7 years we have gathered VideoRay customers, prospects and dealers in a warm location to:
- Network with other VideoRay owners
- Inform attendees of future directions
- Expose attendees to accessories to extend their capabilities
- Communicate with VideoRay’s dealers
- Teach piloting and maintenance techniques
- Develop stories for press releases and our web page
This year’s conference will be held October 26 - 29 at the Marriott Key Largo Bay Resort, Key Largo, Florida, USA. This is an important event and one that will help sell your solutions to the VideoRay customer base. By year’s end VideoRay will have delivered its 1,300th system. Around 140 attendees representing more than 225 systems are projected to be in attendance at this year’s conference.
The VideoRay Pro 4, the latest VideoRay technology will debut at VIPS 2008. The Pro 4 is scheduled for in-water, customer tests from August through the end of October with a planned market delivery date of December 1, 2008.
The conference begins Sunday, October 26 with a welcome reception. On Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, there are morning classroom sessions and afternoon hands-on workshops. Thursday is an optional day for In-Depth training. Thursday’s In-Depth Training Workshops will cover Port Security, Drowning Recovery & UCSI, and Tank Inspection.
For the fourth consecutive year VideoRay will host a vendor table-top display area and in-water demonstrations. The table-top display area is immediately outside the conference rooms in the break area capturing the entire conference congregation in between each session block. In-water demonstrations are planned on Moody Garden’s property at the Marina.
