The Pro 3 E Professional ROV System has been configured for ROV users who require greater capabilities than the Scout or Explorer ROVs for more demanding applications. All Pro 3 models have an open architecture that can accommodate a wide variety of tools and sensors. Piloting the ROV via PC is possible with included "PC Pilot" Software (requires a user-supplied PC - not necessary to operate the system). Though the Pro 3 E configuration is fairly basic, it proves an excellent platform to build upon. The Pro 3 E requires a user-supplied video display or monitor. All components fit into a watertight, rolling Pelican case.

The Pro 3 E and S Control Panel - the Pro 3 E and S configuration require a user supplied monitor that can easily be attached through a composite video cable. VideoRay can integrate a monitor int the panel lid as an option. The Pro 3 E is delivered with 40 m (130 ft) of thin diameter Professional Performance Tether. It comes wrapped as pictured with the Pro 3 E and S systems. A Tether Deploymnt System (TDS) is available as an upgrade. The Basic Tool Kit is delivered with the Pro 3 E and includes items such as a 10 in 1 tool, spare O-Rings and lubricant, and spare nuts and screws among other necessities.
