The Pro 3 S Professional ROV System has been configured for ROV users who require greater capabilities than the Scout or Explorer ROVs for more demanding applications. All Pro 3 models have an open architecture that can accommodate a wide variety of tools and sensors. Piloting the ROV via PC is possible with included "PC Pilot" software (requires a user-supplied PC - not necessary to operate the system). Though the Pro 3 S configuration is fairly basic, it proves an excellent platform to build upon. The Pro 3 S requires a user-supplied video display or monitor. All components fit into a watertight, rolling Pelican case.
The Pro 3 S differs from the Pro 3 E by almost doubling the amount of included tether to 75 m (250 ft) of standard neutrally buoyant tether.

VideoRay can integrate a monitor int the panel lid as an option. The Pro 3 S is delivered with 75 m (250 ft) of standard neutrally buoyant tether. It comes wrapped as pictured - a Tether Deployment System (TDS) is available as an upgrade. The Basic Tool Kit is delivered with the Pro 3 S and includes items such as a 10 in 1 tool, spare O-Rings and lubricant, and spare nuts and screws among other necessities.
