VideoRay PC Pilot 4.4.3 version notes:

- Added video window with integrated video recording and still image grab capability.
- Included controller configuration and Help based on Logitech Cordless Rumblepad 2, though any game controller can be used.

After install you will need to double click the "register" file in \Program Files\PCPilot44 for integrated video to work. You only need to do this once after installation.

Video and serial drivers need to be installed separately. Any common USB video capture device should work though we like the XPert DVD creator USB 2.0.

All still images and video files are stored in the Documents\PC Pilot\Media directory. You can grab stills while recording video and all files are named with date and time.

After connecting the VideoRay and powering the system, you will need to click the Search All Ports button when starting PC Pilot the first time to automatically locate the serial port connected to the VideoRay.

CTRL + H shows the controller configuration and version number (same as hitting the help button on the controller)

CTRL + D enters the depth calibration page = you can hit Surface Zero to re-zero the reading without needing to re-calibrate

CTRL + J enters the Joystick config in case you want need to modify the standard"

CTRL + X Exits (in case things get really screwed up same as hitting the Start / Stop button on the controller)

- PC Pilot and the Vista Operating System:
On Vista you must be logged in as Administrator.
You install normally but have to set it to Run as Administrator.
You only have to do this once:
Click Start then find PC Pilot 4.0
Right click on PC Pilot 4.0 and select Properties.
Select the Compatibility tab then click the check box at the bottom labeled Run this program as Administrator. Click OK.
When you run PC Pilot you will have to Allow it each time but otherwise it will run normally.
