Former United States Coast Guard (USCG) Maritime Safety and Security Team (MSST) Chief to discuss latest technology and tactics
Craig Thorngren, President of Submerged Recovery & Inspection Services of Seattle, Washington, led the Underwater Remotely Operated Vehicle (ROV) team with the USCG’s first MSST team in Seattle. His team traveled through the US, using their VideoRay equipment in innovative ways to increase the Coast Guards underwater effectiveness, efficiency, and safety.
Craig is now involved in training all USCG MSSTs on their VideoRay equipment as one of his contracts with Submerged Recovery & Inspection Services. He also is completing a tour throughout the US demonstrating port security equipment and techniques to first responders and port security specialists. Visit www.underwaterportsecuritytour.com.
At VIPS, Craig will discuss “Best Practices for Using Your VideoRay and Accessories for Port Security.”, giving attendees the opportunity to learn about the most effective technology and techniques first hand. He will also be conducting an optional one day class on Thursday, October 19th at VideoRay’s VIPs conference.
